at powerhouse student ministries we want to address
real issues in life that may be harmful to our
walk with Christ. if we hide the things that are not to be in our lives,
it can lead to detrimental obsessions.

if you struggle with thoughts of homosexuality you should
know that there are specific reasons why it is
not a lifestyle that God wants for us.

if you need to talk to someone about these feelings
feel free to e-mail pastor joel or give him a call to set up a  confidential  appointment where you can discuss
your questions relating to this topic.

if you would prefer to speak directly with a professional
experienced in addressing issues related to homosexuality,
you are welcome to call a staff counselor at
James Dobson's focus on the family.

each counselor is a committed Christian and a licensed therapist whose views and approach are compatible with dr. dobson's psychological perspective. the hours these counselors may be reached are weekdays from 9 am to 4:30 pm (mdt)
at 719.531.3400.

just ask for the counselors' assistant, and don't be discouraged if she requests that you allow a counselor to call you back.
they're often on other lines, but one of them will
contact you just as soon as possible.
there is no charge for this service.
